As of May 12th, the International Book Fair (La Feria Internacional del Libro) in Buenos Aires has officially closed its doors. I would like to extend a special thanks the U.S. Embassy for providing my writing group, Thursdays@Three, a forum to showcase our second anthology, as well as the opportunity to present two workshops: “How to Write a Screenplay” and “How to Form and Maintain a Writer’s Group.” The Argentine newspaper Critica attended the latter workshop and wrote up a short article about it.
My writing as an expat living in Argentina was also highlighted in a radio interview, which aired on May 5th for Radio Nacional Argentina on its English Language program (Radiodifusion Argentina al Exterior/RAE). I was interviewed alongside one of my colleagues from Thursdays@Three, Maryann Ullmann, and another expat writer, Donigan Merritt.
Thanks to all of you who came out and supported my work. If you didn’t get a chance to visit the Fair know that limited copies of our second anthology are still available. If you are interested in obtaining a copy, please contact me an here.
